IN STOCK 1770s Skirt Support aka “Bum Pad” – size 22

£50.00
sold out

Here we have a bum pad suitable for the 1770s-1780s, perfect for adding OOMPH to both backside and hips but without the exaggerated “big b*tt cheeks” of a false/split rump.

You may find this summary of late 18th century skirt support shapes and sizes for reference interesting:
http://demodecouture.com/late-18th-century-skirt-supports/

100% handsewn using vintage unbleached French linen ticking (beautifully soft but tightly woven) and unbleached linen threads, with linen tape waist ties. Ready to ship without stuffing (in case buyer has any allergies) and with waist ties uncut (so you can choose relative length on each side if you wish to tie off-centre).

UK size 22 in stock and ready to ship. More sizes coming!
